    Leaving TalkTalk

TalkTalk uses Openreach, so switching is fully automatic under the One Touch Switch rules. You never need to phone TalkTalk retention.

    The short answer

Sign up with a new provider — they trigger One Touch Switch and cancel TalkTalk for you. If you're outside your minimum term there's no remaining-month early termination charge on Flex 30.

    01

    Check your contract term

Log into MyAccount to see when your minimum term ends. Outside it, switching is free.

    02

Sign up with your new provider

OCCTA covers most TalkTalk areas at the same or higher speeds. Enter your postcode to check.

    03

One Touch Switch does the paperwork

Where One Touch Switch applies, the providers coordinate the switch and you receive the required switching information, including any applicable charge from your existing provider.

    04

    Send the router back

TalkTalk emails a returns label. Post the hub back within 30 days.
