    Essential or Superfast?

Essential (up to 80Mbps, £34.99/mo) runs over fibre-to-the-cabinet and is widely available. It handles HD and 4K streaming, video calls and browsing for a small household.

Superfast (up to 330Mbps, £43.99/mo) uses full fibre where available. It gives a busier home much more headroom and far faster uploads.

    • 1–2 people, light use: Essential is usually enough
    • 3–4 people, streaming and home working: Superfast
    • Heavy gaming, 4K on several screens, big uploads: consider Ultrafast or Gigabit

Price certainty or a rolling plan

Every OCCTA broadband band is available as Price Lock 24 (a 24-month minimum term with no scheduled inflation-linked or percentage rise on the recurring subscription) or Flex 30 (30-day rolling, normally 30 days' notice) where eligible.

Essential is £37.99/mo and Superfast £45.99/mo on Flex 30 where eligible.

    No line rental

OCCTA broadband doesn't need a separate phone line or line rental. If you want a home phone, Digital Voice runs over the broadband from £4.95/mo and you can usually keep your number.

Availability, technology and the speed estimate depend on the exact address. The checker shows what your line can take, and the Contract Summary confirms the price, term, speed information and any one-off charges before you accept.
