    How OCCTA billing works

    In short

The plain-English version of how, when and why OCCTA bills you.

Billing starts only once your service is confirmed live. Your first invoice may include your activation fee and a pro-rata charge from your live date to your chosen billing date. After that, your monthly service is billed in advance on your selected billing date.

    Key points

    • Nothing is billed until your service is live.
    • Your first invoice covers: any activation/setup fee (if applicable), a pro-rata amount from live date to billing day, and (in some cases) your first full monthly service in advance.
    • Every following invoice is one calendar month of service, billed on your chosen billing day.
    • Residential prices INCLUDE VAT. Business prices exclude VAT, with VAT shown as a separate line.

    How you pay

You are either on invoice link or Direct Debit.

    • Invoice link: we email you a link when a new invoice is ready. You are NOT automatically charged — you pay when you receive the link.
    • Direct Debit: your bank pays us on the invoice due date once the mandate is active.

    Invoice statuses

    • Sent: issued, not yet paid.
    • Paid: confirmed received.
    • Overdue: past due date, not yet paid.
    • Void / Cancelled: not payable.

    Receipts

A receipt is only created after confirmed payment. Both invoices and receipts are downloadable from your dashboard.

If something on an invoice looks wrong, do NOT ignore it — contact us with the invoice number and we'll check.
