How OCCTA broadband works
In short
OCCTA broadband uses the UK's Openreach network with our own service, billing and support wrapped around it. Full-fibre or copper — whichever your address supports.
OCCTA broadband runs on the same physical UK infrastructure most providers use — the Openreach network. What changes is who bills you, who supports you, and the terms you sign up on. With OCCTA, that means no contracts, honest pricing, and real UK humans on the phone.
What OCCTA gives you
- A broadband connection (full-fibre / FTTP where available, or copper-based FTTC / SOGEA otherwise).
- A router (or use your own if you prefer).
- One monthly bill, no hidden mid-contract price hikes.
- UK support that will not read you a script.
What OCCTA does NOT do
- Lock you into 18- or 24-month contracts.
- Bury early exit fees in the small print.
- Sell your data.
What to expect on day one
Your service becomes live on your confirmed activation date. Once it is live, plug the router in, wait for the lights to settle, and you are online. See "Router lights explained" if anything looks off.
