How to pay your broadband bill

Every payment method has trade-offs. Here's how to pick the one that costs you least while giving you the most control.

    The short answer

Direct Debit is an automated payment method protected by the Direct Debit Guarantee. Whether it is cheaper than card or another method depends on the provider’s current charges; OCCTA shows any payment-related charge in the accepted terms or invoice.

    02

    Debit or credit card

Some providers accept cards for one-off invoices, sometimes with a processing fee, and cards expire so details need updating. OCCTA does not take card payments — use Direct Debit or bank transfer.

    03

    Bank transfer / Faster Payment

Free, fast, and works from any UK bank. Useful for catch-up payments but requires you to remember to send them each month.

    04

    OCCTA's approach

OCCTA invoices are paid by Direct Debit or by bank transfer only. We do not take card payments or payments over the phone. All amounts and dates are shown in your customer dashboard.
